Slown & Easy, Always Pleasing

Early this morning, there were fluffy clouds trapped between the ridge lines in the Manzano mountains in the areas of the Ojo Peak fires.  The air was moist and cool, the sky overcast . . .  after months of drought we are at long last enjoying a slow and easy gentle rain.  The thirsty earth is drinking it all in and as much as I hate to admit it, I am more than pleased to see the mudd come in on my floors.
Who ever is working on their roof, washing their vehicle, or hanging white sheets today, thanks for your efforts and keep up the good work!  Hope everyone is getting a little of this wonderful moisture!

Republican Candidates Gearing Up For Next Elections

As much as pro Obama supporters don't want to believe it, there is a ground swell across the nation of unsatisfied citizens that will bring balance back into state and federal political administrations.  In New Mexico, Republican Candidates gearing up for the next Governors race are Janice Arnold-Jones and Allen Weh.

Both candidates offer service records, ideas, and seem to want to move New Mexico forward.  Janice Arnold-Jones (http://janiceforgovernor.com/) has her web site and face book pages up and running as does Allen Weh (http://allenweh2010.com/) with both promising to lead New Mexico in a new and better direction.

I will try to post web links to information regardning all candidates and would appreciate any links readers of this blog would be willing to share so that we can help each other to be informed voters.  Lets not let the media and party rhetoric push officials into office - lets educate ourselves, our families and our friends.

Good Luck To All Candidates and May the Best Candidate Win!
