Dana Slips Into Gods Glorious Presence

I don't normally share email with the blog, but thought that Wana Beths words were best.

Dear Friends and Family,

Our precious Dana slipped away into the glorious presence of God on Friday, July 11, 2008 at 8:45 a.m.

She had a sweet smile on her face! Her children, husband, step-mom, Pastor and wife and I were able to be there with her. There was peace that flowed over everyone, even though there were tears. But, we were all able to Praise the Good Lord for being with us, comforting and strengthening us.

The prayers, love, concern and physical help you all have given have definitely made the biggest difference in our family at this time. I'm sure the days ahead will be softened even in our grief for missing Dana, because of those of you who have been such faithful prayer warriors!

For those who want to know: There will be a viewing from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, July 18 at the Harris-Hanlon Funeral Home and 9 to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 19th in 1st Baptist Church, Moriarity.

The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. at the 1st Baptist Church in Moriarity. There will be a lunch served at the church, then those who want to go will be going down to Cedarvale for burial and some refreshments will be served at the Cedarvale Community Center there.

Dana asked that donations be made to the Baptist Children's Home in Portales, NM. in lieu of flowers.

Please forgive me if I've forgotten anything essential , but believe that I'm walking lighter because my Dear Dana is NOT suffering anymore.

God Bless You All,
Mom,
Wana Beth,
Grandma Beth

P.S. for those who've asked, Dana would have been 48 on August 12.
