Early this morning, there were fluffy clouds trapped between the ridge lines in the Manzano mountains in the areas of the Ojo Peak fires. The air was moist and cool, the sky overcast . . . after months of drought we are at long last enjoying a slow and easy gentle rain. The thirsty earth is drinking it all in and as much as I hate to admit it, I am more than pleased to see the mudd come in on my floors. Who ever is working on their roof, washing their vehicle, or hanging white sheets today, thanks for your efforts and keep up the good work! Hope everyone is getting a little of this wonderful moisture!
