As technically savy as I like to think I am, I fell victim to a nasty Trojan that got it's hooks into my system and more or less shut me down for over three weeks. No idea of where it came from for sure, but I do know that it was one mean little bugger. My virus/security software didn't catch it, well, not entirely true, it found it but failed to remove it. My virus/software vendor was unable to help me clean my system after the infection took place, however, volunteers over at BleepingComputer.com saved my system and my bacon.
My system is now clean as a whistle and I am looking at purchasing my virus/security software from a different vendor. Those of your that are having problems with your computer, check out BleepingComputer.com - I bet that they can help you too.
