New Mexico State Chautauqua Troubadour ‘Ramblin Ralph Estes’ will sing songs and tell stories
about Billy the Kid tomorrow (Saturday) at 12:30 p.m. Mr. Estes’ is also a member of the Western Writers of America, the Western Music Association and the Wild West History Association.
His performance is part of Art on the Range, an event celebrating art and ranch life. The art of the late
local rancher and artist, Joe J. Brazil is the focus for this event which also features music,
demonstrations, food, vendors and other exhibits. At 3 p.m. a reception honoring Brazil and his family will be held.
Event hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 16.
The gallery exhibits will also be shown Sunday, June 17, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Everything will take place in and around Mountain Arts on Broadway -- at the
intersection of Broadway and Ross in Mountainair.
