Situation: A
Fire Management Assistance Grant has been approved by FEMA. Crews were able to
stop the forward progression of the fire last night and worked overnight to
secure perimeter and mop up hot spots. Smoke from interior fuels still
smoldering will be visible today. Incident command will keep two helicopters on
the Incident today. An investigator from NM State Forestry will be working to
determine a cause for the fire today.
