This past week there have been several break-ins on private property in the Mountainiar area. Metal seems to be the primary target and the thefts are occurring in the rural areas surrounding Mountainair. A non-descript white pickup and yellow car were seen parked on the fence line at one of the theft locations. Tire tracks appear to match at theft locations - small narrow tires.
Please be vigilant and contact police and property owners if you see anyone that looks out of place.
