Mountain Arts on Broadway Calendar for the rest of November

Waltz Time, Rag Time, Anytime- Sunday, Nov. 11, 3 to 5 pm, Mountain Arts on Broadway, Mountainair. Kathleen Ryan, composer and pianist, presents a program exploring these musical styles. Free admission, donations will benefit Mountain Arts on Broadway.

· Drawing/Painting Workshop Focusing on Portraits- Linda Carroll conducts this session on Thursday, Nov. 8 and Friday, Nov. 16 from 10 am to 1 pm and Monday, Nov. 12 from 12:30 to 3:30 pm; $15 per class for nonmembers, $10 for members. · Open Studio-Clay and Mosaics- Tomás Wolff, 847-2444, conducts this session, Wednesday, Nov. 14, 10 am to 1 pm; $15 per class for nonmembers, $10 for members. Materials are extra.

· Ukulele Building Workshop- iCreate offers this class on Saturday, Nov.17, 10 am to 12 noon. For information, please contact Lenora Romero, 847-2419.

· Yoga Class- Ellen Ashbrook continues this class every Monday from 9:30 to 11 am. Call ahead- 384-5442.

· Speak Spanish-Eat Lunch (Habla Espanol-Almuerza)- Every Monday, 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. Bring your own lunch. Everyone is welcome, including beginners.

· Community Mural Project- Danielle Norris Gardner, project director and artist, works on the east wall of MAOB every Wednesday from 10 am to 1 pm. Volunteers, aluminum beverage cans and plywood are needed.
