At a joint meeting in May of 2012 seniors questioned funding surrounding the project and AAA was able to forward and additional $15,000.00 to complete the project. Good to see this project moving forward and I offer my thanks to everyone who worked so hard on behalf of our seniors!

Mountainair Seniors Shuffle Board Bid Moves Forward
New's on the shuffle board room's completion was included in the manager's report. The contractor recieved the notice to proceed, has picked up the plans to gather permits and has 45 days to complete the project form contract award. The original project fell short in funding which left the addition lacking access ramps, heating, and air conditioning.
