Joshua Heckendorn called the meeting to order at 7:15 pm. This was our first meeting in our new place. Jonathan Tucker led the American pledge and Mariah Montoya led the 4-H pledge.
We decided to donate $200 to the Southwest District Horse show and we would like to challenge the other clubs to do the same. We talked about bringing fundraiser ideas to our next meeting to help raise money for our club. We also talked about community service ideas like park clean up, road clean up, and the Torrance County Fairgrounds clean up/repair - we talked about inviting other clubs to join that one.
Anna Davis did a demon-stration on leather crafting, and Jonathan tucker asked permission to do a gun safety lesson next month. The meeting was adjourned at 8:10.
From the Desk of the Honey Badgers. The Honey badgers 4-H Club has been busy gearing up for our fundraiser Matanzas and chili cook off. The event was held on Saturday, February 23rd at the American Legion post 22. We had a great turn out and finally have something for our treasures report. We have had many members do presentations; demonstrations already. We will be getting started on our portfolios for the year next meeting and planning spring and summer events. We would like to thank every-one who donated to our fundraiser!
