EQIP (Environmental Quality Incentives Program)

The Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) is a voluntary program that helps producers install measures to protect the soil, water, air, and other natural resources while ensuring sustainable production on their farms, ranches and working forest lands. The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) administers EQIP funding and provides participants with professional onservation expertise.

NRCS is accepting EQIP applications on a continuous basis throughout the year for funding in Fiscal Year (FY) 2012. A new application deadline date of December 2, 2011 has been established for EQIP General, Tribal, Watershed and Small Farm and Ranch components of EQIP.
