Manzano Mountain Gun Club - Hunting Firearms Raffle

The Manzano Mountain Gun Club will draw the winning raffle tickets for five quality hunting weapons. 
(Click Here For Flyer) Drawing to be held at the gun clubs September meeting.  For a copy of the news letter Click Here.  Septembers meeting will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2010, 6 pm at Ancient Cities Cafe in Mountainair, New Mexico.  Go to the meeting or check out the clubs web site, either way great information and who knows, you may even want to join the club!

Raffle drawing at 6:30 pm. If you don't have your raffle tickets yet, now would be when to purchase them! (Well, at that meeting would be the latest moment!) This raffle features five quality hunting weapons. I'm attaching that flier too, so you can see for yourself.

Only 500 tickets available and can be purchased for $10.00 per ticket or $25.00 for three tickets.

10th Annual Sunflower Festival, Mountainair, NM - August 28, 2010

Time approaches for the annual Sunflower Festival in Mountainair, NM. This years event will take place on August 28, 2010 and will centrally focused at the Mountainair Activity Center (MAC) located on US 60, in Mountainair and will run from 10am - 4pm.

Event sponsor, Manzano Mountain Art Council promises this years event to be bigger and better than ever. Fine arts and crafts screened from statewide and regiaonal applications will be showcased. Additional market place exhibotrs will be available as well. Other events:

  • Poets & Writers Picnic, Shaffer Hotel
  • Sunflower Hat Contest
  • Area Tours
  • Cibola Art Gallery Art Show
  • Silent Auction
  • Raffle
  • Vendors
  • Live Entertainment.

No fee for attendance. Applications for entrants are available on line at http://www.mountainairarts.org/ or call 505-847-2205 for more information.

Sunflower Festival A Hit


Congratulations to the Manzano Mountain Arts Council on another fantastic Sunflower Festival! It was fantastic to see so many visitors and smiling faces in town this past Saturday. Be sure to thank Council members for all of their hard work and efforts!
